I think we all knew that Nicholas Melillo would be back in the cigar business in more than just a consulting capacity, it was just a matter of time. A little over a year, as it turns out. I believe I saw the press release announcing the creation of Foundation Cigar Company as I was booking my flight to New Orleans for IPCPR 2015. It was a busy show for Nick, but Ben and I were able to grab a few minutes of his time to talk about the inaugural cigar, El Güegüense, how to pronounce the umlaut-heavy name, and what it means literally and culturally to Nicaragua. Toward the end, Ben asks about the possibility of an upcoming Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) limited edition. It seems as inevitable as the solar phenomenon of the same name.
