  1. Well it seems like you guys enjoyed it!?I’ll be putting this on my ‘to smoke’ list!?Thanks guys?Great review!?Keep ’em coming!

  2. I enjoyed watching the Tom and Ed show as always. The addition of Anthony adds some amusing comic relief as well. (love the out take at the end)

The fact that all three of you are completely different personalities allows your review style to work so well. I only wish I lived in St. Pete, FL so I can hang out and smoke cigars with you all. Keep up the good work.

  3. Gran Marnier …. Ed’s my kind of guy that’s my favorite drink. Great review guys. I have always avoided Macanudos, seems like there’s one finally worth smoking.

  4. I think that Anthony would be best used as a small segment of the Tom & Ed show…. Maybe just get his overall view of the cigar, otherwise it seems that too many people talk at one time….This review had a nice balance of Tom, Ed, and Anthony. The out-takes were good, always a nice addition to any vid review!

    Keep puffing MF’s!!!!!!!!

  5. Thanks all for checking out the review!

Nate – For a Macanudo, I easily think it’s their best one.

    Thomas – I think it’s worth a try.

Lisa – Strangly enough… Whenever the camera rolls, we tend to cut down on cursing and try to act somewhat normal. You think Anthony is amusing on camera? That’s nothing compared to the ‘usual’ Anthony. The guy is a thousand laughs. If your in the area, stop on by for a gar!

Marcian – Macanudo’s got me started in the cigar smoking hobby. But I quickly grew bored of them. Gotta give Mac some props for finally releasing something fuller bodied. And as always, I agree – Ed is the F’in man!

Tony – I see your point. The last time he was on, Ed and I tended to inturrupt him without realizing it. I think the next time Anthony is in a review, I’m going to let him and Ed take over, or at least let everyone have their say without being stepped on. Both of them have far more advanced pallets then mine.

    Keep on puffin’ MF’ers! 😉

  6. Great vid as always. I decided to smoke one with you guys while I watched, I must say I don’t care for it as much as you guys did. It is fuller bodied than other Macanudos but really sort of a medium smoke. Draw was on the tight side and smoke production was pretty limited. The flavors were just not very appealing to me. Heavy on the sweetness but without any kick to make it interesting. Looking forward to the Black Dragon review. 🙂

  7. Steve- I’ll make sure Ed reads your post about it being medium! At first, I felt it was in the upper medium, but did become full bodied as time went on. I smoked a couple and didn’t have draw problems though, and the smoke was plentiful on all of them. Maybe you had a bad stick?

Anyhow, glad you enjoyed the review.
    -Tom

  8. Tom, I think you underestimate the value of your input in these reviews. The review would not be the same if you step back and let just Ed and Anthony take over. Your second choice of trying to prevent everyone talking at once is a better idea. It’s great to watch these reviews and see your pallet get more and more refined.

    Keep up the good work

  9. Bud,
Thanks man. It’s a slow process. Some people are a natural at picking apart a smoke, but it’s taking me a long time. It’s still a work in progress.

I’ll definately stick around but try to control the chaos when there is more then the two of us.
