Last year at the 2008 IPCPR Convention in Las Vegas, we brought you a video with Gene Arganese and Joe Gannascoli on the Cugine. At that point in time the cigar was slated to be a mild bodied cigar with solid flavor. Over the past years, things changed and the Cugine was reborn in the hands of Alec Bradley.
As you can see in the video below, Joe tells us that the new blend is designed to be fuller in body. Video runs about three minutes.
What in the F*&@ is wrong with Vito? Joe “Mr. Personality” should be ecstatic to get an interview. Joe, put down the cigar and do the interview!
That was really funny. Joe is looking around like he expects to be “hit” any minute. Don’t get in the line of fire Brian.
I kind of agree with James, he didnt seem very eager to talk about his cigars at all. I guess the reviews from you guys will have to do 😉
Mike
Though he said it was funny, I have the feeling I might have offended him by accidentally calling him Vito. If so, I can understand why he might be a little less than enthusiastic in the interview. On the other hand, he did seem a little preoccupied from the start, like he was expecting someone…
Nice interview and I imagine it’s a bit of a transition to going from Saprano’s to cigar rep heh. Teaming up with Alec Bradely is one hell of a smart idea though. I think AB is going places fast.
Every time I’ve met and talked with Joe, he always seems preoccupied, unfocused, and looking around.
That’s just Joe. That’s just the way he is…. He always says hello to me tho, so that’s a good thing.
Does anybody notice that Brian calls Vito again at the end of the interview. Did you do that out of spite or to be funny Brian, or did you just completely forget his name was Joe again?
I swear I think he has a bullit proof vest under that t-shirt……….Brian its nice to see someone who put his life on the line to do an interview !
