I was going to just embed the video in the original post but I hate scrolling and I’m sure you do too. I received two requests to do this so lets see how it goes. I can’t promise that I’ll do this with each and every episode of Week in Smoke but it was fun to do and something more than just starring at text on a screen.
Let me know what you think regardless of whether you like it or not. Remember this site is just as much your’s as it is our’s.
I like the video, Jerry. Perhaps in the future, make it more of a “PowerPoint” style presentation. Jot down a quick bullet point or two on the pictures in the main article and then elaborate more about the cigars in the video.
Jerry,
Well done. Giving us a quick summary of each cigar makes the video flow ncely. I’d like to see more of these. Keep up the good work.
Jerry,
Liked the video… Actually really enjoyed the video… Felt like I was there with ya… By the way You still in the ATL for thee weekend I might drop in on Buckhead Cigar to meet you.
Nice work Jerry, I too enjoyed this version
Not a bad fuckin week at all, damn I’m lucky if I have time to smoke a quarter of that in a week.
I didn’t hate the video but I gotta say I prefer when u write it out. I don’t mind scrolling, it’s a website, I expect too.
That being said, I really dig the week in smoke and it seems like alot of other people do too. And ur nice enough to keep putting them up for us so I say fuck what everyone prefers and do whatevers easiest for you.
Jerry,. I liked this much better. I can listen to it at work while I’ve got my hands busy doing something else. If you have time keep doing it like this!
I like this, but I must say that I like to blow through it double time in the written format. I also like it written because it can be directly read from the forum.
Keep this up! I loved what you did.
Completely right on the Cameroon Cabinet – it is the gold standard for Cameroon wrapper cigars. While I disagreed with Pete on Candela (smile!), I completely do agree with him on the San Lotano Maduro too – yes, some unique flavors.
Also, you are hit the nail on the head with the Cain Daytona.
really liked this format. the pictures add that something, that makes me connect with the cigar and the review.
Yeah its way more personal and connects you to the week in smoke way better! I vote for audio recaps
It’s only “Cruz” ado done it that he can makes cigars video happen. I enjoyed the video review.
I love this segment, but personally I prefer the quickness of the photos.
