IPCPR 2019: A.C.E. Prime
It’s hard to where to begin on the first day of the trade show. So we got started with the letter ‘A’. That lead us to Luciano Meirelles in the A.C.E. Prime booth, and NBA stars Dominique Wilkins and Tiago Splitter. In this video we get to know A.C.E. Prime, how Dominique Wilkins and Tiago […]
Herfin’ Heads: Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Muestra de Saka Nacatamale
A lot of people have asked us when we were going to do another Herfin’ Heads cigar review video. The answer is today. The technical terrors have been tamed (knock on cedar coffin), and we have a joint video review of the Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Muestra de Saka Nacatamale ready for viewing at your […]
Partagas Ramon y Ramon Maxim Grande
There are a number of reasons to review the Partagas Ramon y Ramon. To begin with, we haven’t yet. That is generally reason enough. Then there’s the whole regenerated vintage tobacco thing. That’s also interesting. But the real reason I’m lighting up the Ramon y Ramon this week is that I won a box on […]
Another engaging episode, and I was happy to hear Charlie’s input. I think that CA simply focuses on their readership, which is what would seem to be overwhelmingly middle-of-the-road, so the bulk of what they review will be middle-of-the-road cigars. That would leave out the majority of boutique cigars, so a big thanks to all of you bloggers for doing that work. I was glad to see El Primer Mundo mentioned, but was somewhat surprised that nobody gave props to the CroMagnon.
Speaking of contests, I’m looking forward to Walt’s AK-47 giveaway and Mike’s Vicodin raffle, not to mention Brian’s Irish Whiskey Sweepstakes.
I hold an Irish Whiskey Sweepstakes every night here in The Manastery, but you have to be present to win.
That drunken 2,000 mile drive home is a killer.
Highly entertaining, gents!
I’m like in this forum show. You should give away the Stogie Review T-shirt and mud with all (5) the signatures. The Cigar Aficionado Magazine/.Com is a good refrences to the world cigars taster. I like their monthly list of the cigars than their yearly list of the cigars. Because they did not smoked all of the cigar’s Manufacture in the world. The top 25 cigars list are wrong and bias……..
Every Cabaiguan I have ever smoked, which includes both the original shade grown and the Guapos, has a fascinating and incredible vanilla menthol thing going in the last half. Are you guys not picking up on that ?
Warlock, no no no. Did not like this cigar. to plane of a smoke
Unable to view video on an iPhone 4. Any ideas?
Hmm… it works on my iPhone 4S. Which version of iOS are you running?
Try changing the orientation on your iPhone. Once you flip it you should see the play button in the black box.
Always love the YQMA episodes, and good to see Charlie participate. Some of CA’s choices I’d agree with, some I really just don’t understand. It’s really hard to rely on them.
Thanks for the help. Changing the orientation did the trick. I am so happy to have found this app. Thanks again everyone.
