With limited time again this week, I figured I should look for something interesting to serve as the subject for a first impressions video review. As I was digging through my remaining samples from this summer’s IPCPR, I recalled the glowing praise offered by our own Walt White and also our friend Craig Vanderslice from CigarCraig.com for the new “E” Cigar by BOTL LLC, makers of Esencia Cigars and Palio cutters. Marc Aub provided some background information about the new E Cigar at the end of Brian’s interview at IPCPR, and since Walt and Craig both liked it so much, it seemed like the perfect time for me to light up my sample and add my two cents.

What can I say? Walt and Craig have excellent palates, and I definitely concur that the E Cigar seems like a real winner. Marc Aub certainly achieved his goal of packing a ton of delicious flavor into a cigar in the mild to medium range. As I said in the video, I can definitely see myself keeping some of these on hand to enjoy with my morning coffee. For smokers like me who tend to gravitate towards the medium to full end of the spectrum, something like the E Cigar will likely be more satisfying earlier in the day than most Connecticut Shade-wrapped cigars. This is certainly a great cigar at a great value.
Want to try out the “E” by Botl… where can I buy it, any one knows?
