Hello once again and welcome to this weeks first impressions review of the Kristoff 685 Woodlawn. This cigar is named after Glen Cases’ address growing up. It is also a limited edition and what is out there is all there is from what I have been told, so grab them fast if you want to try them. They are also only available in the perfecto shape (6 1/2 x 60) and have a Brazilian wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan and Dominican filler.

With this being a first impressions I will let the video do most of the talking, also I am horrible at writing reviews.

Short version of the cigar is it is very good flavors with not so good construction issues. There was a nice spice with a creamy wood flavor that lead into a citrus taste added to the woody flavor and really only hit a medium strength but the flavors really blossomed as I went through the cigar and that is what held it into a likable cigar for me even with the construction problems.

Would I buy it again? At $14 a stick it would be for a special occasion but I could see snagging it again even with the problems I had with construction. In my opinion the flavors were just amazing and if the construction was in the same category I would not hesitate to beg and borrow to get a box of 10.

  1. The Kristoff Cigars is trying to be like the Pardon Cigar and Arturo Fuente Cigar. The Kristoff 685 Woodlawn Cigar is too expensive. It sounds like a $10 or less a cigar. Mike’s impression has said it all. I have had smoked a few of their cigars. It seems like an average cigar. JUST BE REALISTIC ON A CIGAR PRICE PEOPLE for us whom enjoyed a good cigar everyday.

  2. The one I smoked was rather mild. It was a good cigar, but not a $14 cigar. If it were less expensive I would buy again, but I would pick up other cigars if spending that much per stick.

Great review as always Mr. Forry

      1. As the president of the International Committee Against the Verbing of Nouns, I hereby order you to stop using the non-word, “gifting”!

I am removing three of your language indulgences, trusting you will learn your lesson, Mike!

  3. You are still the man Mike and who said you are stupid ? But like a lot of brands out there they do themselves a misjustice by over pricing average or below average cigars
