Welcome to this weeks review of the Tatuaje Black Label Lancero which I got in the 10 count lancero sampler as seen in the above picture. All of these cigars are 7.5×38.
Starting out this Tatuaje Black Label Lancero with a woody base and prominent black pepper on the retrohale while getting a strange sour cherry vibe on the aftertaste. Power ramps up very quickly to a high medium along with the pepper moving in the same direction but the sour cherry notes have gone away and been replaced by a subtle cool/minty flavor in the background. Cigar is burning great so far. Halfway and full full full for flavor body and strength. Flavor is great on this with the base wood and pepper while throwing hints in of a strong coffee at this point. Keeps everything full till the end and starts to get a bit harsh and bitter at the very end. Again, some people do not smoke down to burning your fingers so this wont matter to you.
Would I buy it again? Yea but not too often due to being fuller bodied.
