We also had a chance to catch up with the impressively-bearded Tom Lazuka about Asylum Cigars about what he brought to the trade show. He told us about the new Asylum 33, the first installment of the 33 Project which he bills as a documentary in tobacco. After that he introduced us to the Ogre Lancero and the Insidious Maduro and Habano. With all the new releases under the CLE umbrella, Lazuka tells me the plan for the next year is work on increasing distribution, creating an Asylum 13 Connecticut and adding Connecticut and Maduro lines to the Everyday Hustle. Additionally we could see Christian Eiroa’s 20th Anniversay cigar as early as October or as late as March.
