Short on time again this week, so here’s another first impressions video for you all to enjoy. And yes, I took my life into my hands again and recorded the video while fighting through traffic on my way to work. This time around, I lit up a 13th Floor Foundation series toro which I received through a cigar trade — with whom, I can’t remember!
13th Floor started making cigars only a few years ago. After some initial success, the owners decided to take a hiatus and regroup. I hadn’t had an opportunity to sample any of their offerings before, so I was glad to receive one of the dwindling supply.

Looks like my bad luck continued for a second week. Last Tuesday, it was a horribly cracked wrapper. This week, it was one hell of a tight draw. Despite that, the flavors kept me interested, and things definitely improved in the final third once the draw finally opened up. While I won’t be searching high & low to get my hands on the few remaining 13th Floor cigars, I’ll be sure to give them another try if and when they restart production.

Good review on your part, but, more important, how did you steer that car?
