Herfin’ Heads: Vindicator By Oliva Robusto

Walt and I are back with another installment of everybody’s favorite internet video series, Herfin’ Heads. Today we make good on another cigar review we owe Famous Smoke Shop (thanks for the cigars guys), the Vindicator By Oliva Robusto. As the name indicates, it’s made by the Oliva that produces the popular Serie V, G and O lines and like the Inferno we lit up a few weeks ago, this is a Famous Exclusive.

In what follows, we discuss the merits of the Vindicator and talk a little about how it compares to the Inferno. I also nurse a Red Brick 16th Anniversary (which is a thick, divine nectar of coffee, coconut and chocolate flavors) in an appropriate glass, and act somewhat awkward as the beer and cigar mix with the energy drink I knocked back shortly before the video. And if everything works out, perhaps we have another visit from the mustachioed one. In short, it’s good times, enjoy.

  1. Thanks, guys for a very entertaining herfin’ heads review. This format is really growing on me, hope there is more to come.

Always like Olivas but haven’t been smoking them recently. Love love love Jerry the Stach at the end!. Care to share any production secrets of the split screen? Looks like Brian was having some bandwidth issues on the upload.

    1. Thanks, I hope there are more too.

Yes, you are correct, I was having connectivity issues due to failing hardware when we recorded it, and I didn’t realize how bad it was until I watched the video today. (I’m a little surprised it happened at all.)

  2. Really dig these dual reviews and the banter that comes with them. I’ll definitely have to check out this one and the Inferno sometime. The only Oliva I’ve had that disappointed me was the Serie O Natural; The V (especially in lancero) is one of my favorites. Thanks guys – and Jerry, lol.

  3. Great review guys…many thanks.

One thing to note, Vindicator is less expensive than Inferno when you buy a box.

Vindicator is $59.99 for a box of 20 while Inferno is $71.99 for a box of 20. Both in the Robusto size.
