Welcome to this weeks review of the Tatuaje El Triunfador Original Lancero which I got in the 10 count lancero sampler as seen in the above picture. All of these cigars are 7.5×38.
Slight barnyard on wrapper with a slight bittersweet chocolate on the cold draw is about all to report.
This Tatuaje El Triunfador Original Lancero Starts off with a bittersweet chocolate and some coffee. Mild to start but its medium fast with some peppery blasts coming through. Pepper really comes through at the halfway point with the coffee going away and a little sweeter coffee coming out rather than being bitter. Had about two inches that burnt real fast with two big holes through the middle that muddied flavors for a while but it cleared up. At the end there is more of a dull cauliflower in the background rather than the wood that was the background. Coffee is still on the sweeter side with massive doses of pepper.
Would I buy it again? Yes. Further down my list but I have done box splits with the guys at genuine tobacco and would buy more.

This cigar was the first one I picked to smoke from the sampler. It was a challenge to smoke. First third was a really tight draw with a wonky burn that needed a couple touch-ups. Starting the second third it tunneled and required a couple relights. Then it seemed to clear up but at the start of the last third it tunneled again and got really harsh after a relight. I was so frustrated I just tossed it. Overall a real disappointment and a stick I would never buy again.
