When I was visiting the new Crescent City Cigars location in Metairie, LA, I picked up a Kafie 1901 Don Fernando Maduro 6 year Anejo robusto on the recommendation of Armando Ortiz, the owner. I had never heard of Kafie cigars before, but he talked me into giving it a shot. I have to say I was pretty impressed by the cigar. Maybe because I had no preconceived notions. Either way, it had some great flavor and burn. The cigar has a 6 year old Habano maduro wrapper from Nicaragua, but the rest of the blend is a proprietary secret. All in all, it was an outstanding cigar. Check out the video for the full review.

LA Cigar Collective Gris Gris Cigar Review
It’s been a very long time since I’ve done a proper video cigar review. Years, actually. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that the old saying holds true: if you don’t use it, you lose it. When you spend your time being a consumer rather than a reviewer, smoking cigars for pure enjoyment […]

Great review Ben,, first you should lose that hat for one that has an Eagle on it… second, I have never heard of this smoke but I like the look of it and sounds like it wouldn’t be half bad. thanks for the hard work.
I would never lose that hat. LOL
I really was a tasty maduro cigar. Definitely try it out if you run across it.
Good day Ben. First of all, allow me to say thank you for taking the time to enjoy our cigar and do a video review. And forgive me for the cheap plug, but our brand of cigars in new to the scene and many people have yet not heard of us. Our company plans on introducing permanent blends. The first was the Don Fernando maduro, to follow will be a Connecticut and a Sumatra blend. We did fine tune the cigar bands for better presentation and we expect to have the full like available in the next 6-9 months. For now, our maduro blend has been doing great. We are blessed to have been received well by connoisseurs. Once again, thank you for taking time … your efforts are appreciated. Anything we can do for you and Stogie Review, please count on our support.
