It’s always great to catch up with Sean Williams. We kicked off our annual tour of the General Cigar booth in the Cohiba section, where Sean gave us the scoop in the 2019 release of the Cohiba Spectre, a follow-up to last year’s inaugural release of the very limited, super-premium cigar. It may share the same name, but the blend is very different from the original release, with a more fuller-bodied Nicaraguan influence. We also talk about aging tobacco in tercios, and why that’s a good thing, changes in Cohiba packaging and last, but not least, the new Connecticut Shade Cohiba.
