Well I’m off for the next two weeks. Going home to the Philippines. I really hope to check out the cigar scene and pick up some locally grown cigars to bring back and smoke. The history of the Philippines is so rich in Spanish lore. Ferdinand Magellan brought tobacco seeds from Cuba when he “discovered” the Philippines. The local people also killed Magellan but lets hope its not because he brought bad seeds to them.
While I’m gone, my good buddy Walt will be managing and contributing to the site. Thanks Walt!
Have a safe and enjoyable trip.
I’m looking forward to hearing about all about it when you get back. Should make for some interesting cigar stories
If for any reason anyone would like to get in touch with me in regards to the site, feel free to contact me at Waldo@hpsf.org
i know this comment is a almost a year late but i’m curious: what is the trend towards cigar use in the Philippines? do you think people are becoming more interested in cigars?

cigars. Great cigar like your man said ,very even burn.
nice mellow taste & no bite at all. The blend is perfect
and phillippine wrapper instead of the boring java.
