  1. Just a little more info regarding the CigarFest fiasco. From my understanding, the people who never attended a previous CigarFest were the first ones to recieve the special invite. That’s why Walt and Brian were able to see the link on their My Account section on Cigars International’s website. I purchased tickets last year and never recieved notice for this years event. However, about 2 years ago, I created an account under my wifes name but never used it. So, I decided to go in under her name and sure enough, there was a link to purchase tickets. As far as the hours, sounds like they extended it by 1 hour. Possibly due to this big screw up, give the guys who weren’t able to get the “early in” tix an extra hour at the event. Also, Walt, by the time you saw that ticket for 95 bucks was available, all the others were sold out at that point. There’s always next year!

  2. Awsome episode guys. You guys have a good chemistry and work well together. Between Walt’s technical knowledge, Brian’s hold no punches approach, and Chris’ wildery ruggedness, it’s a winning cast.

  3. Thanks for the great suggestions! As a new smoker, I am still try to differentiate between bodies and flavors.

Thanks again for everything that you guys do. I appreciate all the hard work.

    Long Ashes,
    M.J.

  4. Thanks fellas for the comments – too kind! Once again I had a helluva good time with Walt and Brian. It’s always fun to talk “cigars” with the both of them and this time was no exception – it really is a privilege! The fans really make the YQMA segments with the great topics you all submit, so keep ’em coming and thanks again for being fans! Walt and Bri, thanks to the both of you for having me on! Long ashes, CD

  5. Thanks guys!

    CD,
We’re glad to have you anytime!

I’m just watching this now, and I never did answer that vitola question seriously. (The one about the blend.) I’m thinking I would go with robustos, coronas and petite coronas, pretty much in keeping with what Walt and CD were saying. (The “Tuba” would be a special edition!)

  6. For the Kansas fellow with humidor issues, try this: Forget the mixes for the winter. Here in Wisconsin, I go to distilled water only in November and keep that through February. Things humid up with the heavy March snows and April rains, so then I go back to 50-50. Summer up here can be really humid and I usually remove all humidifiers in June and even use drying agents in August.

    Hope that helps.
