As I am sure many of you are well aware of, Stogie Review ran a contest for the month of July in which we were giving away a box of Nub Cameroon Box Pressed Torpedoes to a randomly selected winner. The box was generousely donated to us by RGianelli, one of our very own Stogie Review regulars.
To enter the contest all one had to do was post what you are, or were smoking, in the comment field of the contest post. Each person was permitted one entry per day. The idea was to kick the commenting into overdrive and see how active our readers would become.
I posted an unofficial goal on Twitter of 1,000 comments. At the time I thought it might be a bit of a stretch. To my surprise we passed my goal with several days to spare. The final tally came to 1,328 entries. I was very pleased with the entries and hope that everyone will join in once again for our giveaway for the month of August.
The winner of the box of Nub Box Pressed Torpedos is
Luke with his entry on July 21st of an Arturo 8-5-8 Candela
Congratulations Luke!
While you may not have enjoyed the Fuente Candela
I hope you have better luck with the Nub Cameroon.
I want to thank everyone for taking the time to enter the contest. It was a blast to see all of the posting and I look forward to your future entries.
Congratulations Luke!
ohh, congratulations Luke. Candela wrapper huh? Cool. Don’t hear about that too much.
is there a runner up if Luke doesn’t claim his prize???
hint hint….
Grats! Luke. Candela FTW!
Congrats Luke! I just smoked a Camacho Corojo that has the candela wrapper tonight.
I’ll go ahead and torpedo any hopes of me not claiming my prize,Rich, but I like the way you think (which measn I would have asked the same question) 😉
Thanks again to RGianelli, the Stogie Review, and for all the congratulations. I’m sure I’ll enjoy the Nubs much more than the Fuente Candela… it must be an acquired taste
Congrats Luke.
oh damn….
ghmghmm I mean congrats!!! 😀
Nice win Bro!!!!!
I know this is so yesterday but…
Speaking of Fuente Candelas, my friend bought one on a Cigar Day-trip and hated it. Heh Heh. My Casa Torano was very enjoyable though.
