I was talking with Carlos via twitter the other day about Cigarfest and if I was planning on heading out for the event. During the conversation he recommended that I signup for the Cigarfest announcements on their official site.
I did not get around to signing up yet but received a notice from Cigar Bid that tickets go on sale February 2, 2009. The event will be held on May 2, 2009.
At this point in time we are a little ways away from the official date of the event, however Jerry and I are planning on attending to do some coverage for Stogie Review. If you are planning on making it out, drop us a line so that we can try to meet up with you at some point during the show.
Man, I sure would like to join you guys. Being West Coast, hard to say. Maybe I can talk my Dad into joining me and make it a reunion of sorts heheheh 🙂 Might be able to get away with that with the wife!
I’d be there in a heart beat, but it’s my boy’s 3rd B-day that day and since I was gone for his 2nd B-day, I’m not going anywhere for this one!

I’ll be there for the weekend. Decided this time around to make a family trip out of it. They’ve got an indoor water park so my kids will love that.
I’m thinking about getting the super early entrance ticket if that’s even an option this year. That ticket will get me in around 10am for the seminars.
I’ve been told that CI blocks out a certain amount of rooms at the resort for people attending CigarFest. These rooms are located close to the convention center and will be offered at a discount.
