The Dunhill Heritage was released this year at the 2015 IPCPR by General Cigar as Dunhill’s strongest cigar to date. The blend is a mixture of Honduran and Nicaraguan aged tobaccos including an habano ligero wrapper. The cigar is available in 4 sizes:
Robusto (Boxed Pressed): 5 x 50
Toro: 6 x 50
Gigante: 6 x 60
Torpedo (European and Asian Markets only): 6.25 x 52
Churchill: 7.5 x 50
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano Ligero
Binder: Nicaraguan from Jalapa
Filler: Honduras (Jamastran from 2007), Nicaraguan (Esteli from 2012 and Ometepe from 2005)
The cigar is quite a rich cigar with notes of cedar, pepper, leather, nutmeg, caramel and toasted cashews. The cigar got more bitter near the end, like a hoppy IPA. Its a really great cigar especially for $6.50. They come in boxes of 10 as well which is great as it makes it even easier to stock up on. I think these can age well and I plan on purchase a few boxes of these. I really enjoyed this cigar so definitely check them out.
