Well, the holiday season is upon us. Even if it isn’t technically a holiday yet, it feels like one. So I decided to light up something nice this afternoon. Truth be told, I’ve been sneaking in Don Carlos Eye of the Sharks since they hit the shops a few weeks ago. I didn’t secure all that many, so I’ve been trying to make them last. So far I’ve made it to Thanksgiving without running completely out.
So as you’ve probably heard, this release commemorates the 30th anniversary of Arturo Fuentes extremely popular Don Carlos line. It looks very much like a Añejo Shark, but it’s actually about an eighth of an inch longer, but 2 ring gauges smaller. There is speculation about the blend, particularly the wrapper (the smart money is on Cameroon), but no details have been released. It’s a sharp looking smoke, and here’s your chance to watch me burn one in just under five minutes while I give you my thoughts on it. Enjoy.

Never mind the cigar. That beard is #amazing
It’s the young Kris Kringle – ’tis the season! Ha, you and your facial hair fixation. How are you, Tom?
As always, a great review.
It won’t be long now until I got fat stacks of mall Santa money supporting my cigar habit.
(And Tom, the beard has only gotten bigger and wilder since then.)
