If the name Adorini sounds familiar, you might remember it from the humidor review I did shortly before IPCPR. (It’s the one with the cool “ventilation ribs” in the interior walls and floor.) After we posted the review, Torger Brunken invited us to stop by the booth the talk humidors and accessories. In addition to humidors (he brought the entire line), he showed off an analog hygrometer that measures humidity with a “synthetic hair”. That may sound like a made-up marketing term, but you have to see how quickly it responds to changes in humidity caused just by holding it in your hand. It’s really impressive. From there we moved on to cedar lined cigar holders with “cigar band view” and adjustable dividers, a new lighter with a poker for those plugged Cuban cigars we’ll be smoking when they’re legalize here, as well as a few impressive cutters.
