I’ve been meaning to stop by the Paul Garmirian booth at IPCPR for years now, but it never seems to happen. This year we bumped into Kevork Garmirian after the trade show floor had closed for the day and talked for a while. I promised to drop by next day to chat on camera. Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, we didn’t get to talk to Paul Garmirian on camera, but Kevork did a great job of telling us about the PG brand, their philosophy and how they do business. Things like being small by choice, what’s new is old, box-aging cigars three to five years before shipping them, and letting the cigars speak for themselves.

I have always been intrigued by this brand. Can’t say I’ve ever seen P.G. cigars in a brick and mortar store (although I’ve seen the book). Would love to try some day.
I think that goes with their “small by choice” approach to the business. I don’t see them around very often either, but I try to pick a couple up when I do.
