Stogie Talk: Where to enjoy a smoke outside of your own home

How often have you gone out to a nice establishment and had someone tell you, Please, feel free to light up that cigar and enjoy yourself?. If your experiences are like mine, you probably haven’t heard it much at all.

With new smoking bans popping up all over the country it gets difficult to smoke a cigar outside of your own home (and in some cases you can’t even do that). Fortunately there are a few services available that make things just a tad easier. I recently received an email from Chris telling me about the newest one to pop up on the web. Chris has developed a website which features an interactive map to help you find cigar friendly establishments. The new site is Cigar Places.

When I got the email from Chris (on 2/26/08) he mentioned that the site has been up and running for 2 days has already had several cigar friendly establishments added. The site is simple, to the point, and easy to manage. If you have a minute, head over to Cigar Places and add your favorite cigar shop, cigar friendly restaurant, cigar bar, etc…

Who knows, if everyone enters two or three places into the map we just might be able to hear this phrase alot more often.

Please, feel free to light up that cigar and enjoy yourself.

  1. Carlos, WOW awesome link. I had no idea about all those places near me. Much easier to use than Cigar Places’ website (though that’s the website’s fault not the maker’s).
