A few days ago I got word that I may be lucky enough to score myself a couple of the new Oliva Connecticut Reserves. Getting some information that they were shipping as early as Friday February 27th, I didn’t get my hopes up in regards to getting a pre-release review together.

Due to a couple of very fortunate turn of events, I was able to get my hands on a few of them this evening. While there is no way I can get the review pumped out in time for my Friday review, I was able to get you a picture to hold you over until Saturday when I publish my review.

As I type this I am smoking my 3rd Oliva Connecticut and am looking forward to working on the official review tomorrow afternoon. Since there has been some interest in Jerry and I producing desktop sized images for the fine readers/viewers of Stogie Review, I’ve included an extra large version of the image for use as a wallpaper. At this point in time it is only available in 16:9 format (widescreen) and measures up at 2624×1504 (not proper size for desktop but close enough to fit to your screen).

Since I wasn’t able to produce my normal review on time, you will see a Short Ashes video pop up shortly to hold you over until Saturday.
