For this weeks short ashes segment, I had planned on smoking the Camacho Candela to commemorate St. Patrick’s Day. Coincidentally, last week I reviewed the Alec Bradley Harvest Selection 1997 while Jerry had planned to review it as well, this week we had the opposite happen.
Due to my never being able to top Jerry in a leprechaun getup, I switched gears and fired up a Camacho Corojo. The video runs around 11 minutes.
Check out my original take on the
Camacho Corojo
I would hate to mow that hill 🙂
Nice review. I have only had 2 corojo cigars so far in my short smokin span, but I have not cared for either, I always got a horrible bity aftertaste. I will write this one down on my sheet of cigars to look for and try to see if it is any different or not.

GREAT REVIEW Walt!!!
Great review Walt! The corojo is a fave cigar of mine. Gonna have to look and find one in the humis… 😉

The outdoor thing is a good idea, looks better than a plain background. Hopefully you can do some more outdoor reviews once the cold weather passes.
great review! I will have to give this one a try
Great review. These are pretty much my daily smokes, and like you said, they never fail to draw well. In fact I can’t remember the last time I had one that failed me in any way. I do like the maduro version as well, they have a little extra meatiness to them, but both are great. I must say my favorite Camacho right now is the SLR Maduro. You should give that one a try Walt.
i just got done smoking one of these and wanted to see what your take on it was. it was a very solid smoke with great taste. any complaints i had i attributed to a construction flaw at the foot of the stick. there was a sizable crack in the wrapper that made the draw to easy and the smoke airy. This worked it’s way out however and i would highly recommend this cigar.
