Location: Above Average
The shop is located in a small shopping center, off of a major road. The location is convenient, and the shopping center isn’t one of the more bustling areas, so I like the location. It is readily accessible and easy to find.
Staff: Above Average
The staff consists of the owner, Jeff, and an employee about the same age. Both are very knowledgeable as well as easy to talk to. If you have been walking around the walk-in humidor for a while, they will pop in and ask if you need anything. They make you feel at home.
Stock: Above Average
Cigar selection is wonderful! They have Chester County’s largest walk-in humidor. I have only been to 2 cigar shops in my life, but I like to think it is a pretty good selection. *Please Note* the cigar list on their website is out-of-date!
I have never seen any products that had problems with them, such as mold, beetles, etc.
As for pricing, I think they have very competitive pricing. As I said before, it is only the 2nd shop I have visited in my life, but I think their prices are very fair. I’d even say their prices are good compared to online prices.
Lounge: Average to Above Average
As I keep stating, I have only been to 2 cigar shops before, but I do like the setup JM Cigars has. They have a small window-front table+stool setup, which is nice when you want to socialize. But they also have a lounge in back beside the walk-in humidor…think couches, TV, etc.
I also want to note they have private lockers.
Overall Opinion: Above average
Overall I really like this shop. They have a great selection, wonderful atmosphere and staff. There isn’t much else I could ask for. I will return over the summer (when I’m back from college) to shop again.
