While browsing through my Twitter Feed yesterday, I came across a link from Zino Platinum in regards to a new release. The link pointed to their Facebook page and included a small writeup on the new Emperor 2009 release, which included a picture. While I’ve never had the pleasure of smoking a Zino Platinum, the new release seems interesting.
Zino Platinum Emperor Edition 2009 Copy:
The Zino Platinum Crown Series Emperor Edition 2009 is an omnipotent robosto (5 x 58), exceptional in flavor and overall balance. Masterfully blended Piloto Ligero fillers from 2 different cultivation areas in the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua are bound by a Corojo/Olor hybrid Dominican binder. The dark, oily wrapper, Cuban seed from Ecuador, has undergone a special fermentation process making the cigar wonderfully rich. It is full bodied and opulant, delivering mouthfuls of rich complex flavor and an intense and inviting aroma. Available now!
eh, its probably way overpriced like the rest of the zino line. but thanks for the heads up!
I’m a fan of Zino Platinum Cigars. The Chubby Especial is my favorite (Crown Series). The sticks may be costly, but so are all the other finer things in life. Now Davidoff 100th Anniversary, that’s on par with any Zino. (Granite it’s Zino Davidoff), The flavor is still distinctly different….I love the size of the Emperor and the aroma is enticing.
