Location: Average
Not the most ideal location, but it is easy enough to find if you know the area. Not to mention it is next to an excellent Thai restaurant. Parking is scarce, but there is usually overflow parking at the stripmall next door. You might miss it the first time you drive by, but just keep looking. It is between Rockland and 176.

Staff: Excellent
The staff is excellent. They are the extremely knowledgeable and not the least bit intrusive. They are more than willing to help you out if you ask them, and are legitimately happy to do so. The shop is perfectly maintained, but still manages to provide a very laid back atmosphere. The owner, Ken, is a great guy and is quite generous. He definitely takes care of his customers. Not to mention the daily free cigar promotions, where all you have to do is utter the phrase of the month and receive a free cigar with every purchase (I have received some great free smokes this way).

Stock: Above Average
Great selection including Padron (Anniversary’s always in stock), nearly every Ashton cigar ever made, Davidoff/Avo, Camacho, Tatuaje, Illusione, Oliva, La Flor, etc. The only cigars I know they dont carry are Perdomo and Kristoff. Their prices are fair, but with Illinois taxes you are going to feel it no matter where you go.

Lounge: Excellent
There are a few leather recliners near the registers/walk in humidor with a giant plasma mounted on the wall. But behind that is a beautiful Diamond Crown lounge which is always clean. There is wood everywhere, reminiscent of a study from the 1950s, and leather recliners galore. One of my favorite places to smoke.

Overall Opinion: Excellent
I have been going here for quite some time, and will be continuing to do so. Great selection, great events, great people. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping by.

  1. Couldn’t have said it better myself! Ken & Julie and their staff do any amazing job and really espouse Zino Davidoff’s philosophy of “the good life”, sharing it through life experiences with friends, family and colleagues.

  2. I actually just got back from the shop a few minutes ago. Ken was busting my balls as usual.

    Definitely a cool place.
