Located on a very busy road in north Houston. Convenient for those on the North side of town, but traffic can be difficult on Saturdays and other busy times.

I’ve never had great customer service at Serious Cigars, but then again I know what I’m looking for. If I was a novice I might have been put off by the staff’s lack of enthusiasm. On the other hand, the service is not bad, and is always professional.
Stock: Exceptional
Is there anything higher than “exceptional” for this category? Serious Cigars does alot of web business, so they keep a large amount of cigars in stock. And their selection is the best in Houston, hands down. Prices are okay- not too high but not a bargain either. If you are looking for a hard to find cigar, this would be the place to go. It’s like being in a candy store every time I go into their humidor.
Lounge: Above Average
Serious Cigars has a large lounge in the middle of the store with a large TV and lots of comfortable leather chairs. Very relaxing and a great place to sit and watch a ball game. Drinks are available, I believe- although I’ve never had one while in the shop. The only bad thing about big comfy leather chairs is that it’s difficult to speak to more than one person at a time. So not a good spot for a round table discussion.
Overall Opinion: Above Average
I will definitely return to Serious Cigars as they are professional, have the best selection in town, and every year the owner throws the best Holiday party with lots of free food and drinks, outstanding box specials, and tons of door prizes. I have to be honest and say I’ve won a few nice door prizes, so I hope my opinion is not upwardly skewed just because I’ve won so much stuff there :). But this is definitely the cigar store you don’t want to miss during your visit to Houston.

Just made my first purchase from Serious 2 weeks ago. It was a great experience, I purchased MTX Multi Tool and it was at my house in 2 days with regular shipping! Will definatly order from them again, and stop by the shop next time I am in Houston.
This shop (Serious Cigars) may be a great shop for locals and they do have a great imventory to choose from, but their online customer service is absolutely the worst I’ve ever done business with in my 35+ years of buying cigars. They have no respect for their customers. They sent out the wrong products and won’t give back the money, even though they admit they have gotten the product they did send out, back! I asked them what the hold up is? Their answer is always the same, we will email our return department and get that right out to you. I’ve been hearing that same story day after day and now week after week. The only response I get now from the emails I send them are Automated. Nobody will get back to me and when I do get someone on the phone they won’t get me a supervisor, nor will they do anything but make false promises over and over again. I really likes they quick shipping, the product selection and hadn’t worried about anything even though I was told by others about the horrible customer service issues. I don’t know what else to do other than what I’ve had to do and that was to start a dispute with them through my credit card company. I will not do business with them ever again and I warn you, if it says low stock on an item, pick something else or you may get something else anyway, whether you want it or not. If they would have sent me something comparable maybe it would have been okay, but they sent me half as many as I ordered and a much inferior product. Just a word of caution.
