During Cigarfest 2010, one of my duties was to wander the show floor shooting random footage. I wanted to give people a feel for what it was like to attend the event, even if you could only do so via your home computer. I didn’t record anything particular, with the exception of the cigar rolling towards the end, just wanted to show you the crowd and everything going on throughout the building.
All in all, I had a good time and want to thank Cigars International for allowing Mike and I to attend this years festivities as members of the press. It was awesome to get to talk to some of the Stogie Review fans. I can’t say enough about how nice it was to puff on a cigar while having a little conversation. I hope that we can do it all over again next year (minus the parking situation at the after-party, that was just insane)
Cigarfest 2010 Coverage:
Woo-hoo! I made the cut…just barely, just for a couple seconds before Walt decided to focus on one of the leggy models instead…oh, who am I kidding, I can’t blame you, Walt! LOL
looks hectic
That was awesome Walt. Great video and thanks for taking it. Looks like a great place to score mass cigars!!!!!!
your efforts are appreciated!
I see what you mean. Too noisy, and very smoky. You could see the haze earlier on when only a few people were inside.
Never heard of Graycliff, but their cigar mountain was cool. And that dude almost hacked his own finger! Actually, he did a pretty good job.
Where’d people ash? Can’t say I was really looking, but I realized part way through I hadn’t seen any communal ash trays or butt receptacles (that sounds a bit nasty, but hopefully you know what I mean). So just ash and drop them nt the booth ashtrays?
Oh, just saw a bucket full of ice by the CAO booth … maybe that wasn’t for beer 🙂
Cheers
Ok, I’ve read about this monster herf before. But it came up again last week in talking to a friend who I just learned is a huge cigar fan, who has actually attended the CigarFest for the last couple of years. I hope to make it to this year’s event myself!
