The success of Stogie Review is never our’s alone. We have lots of help. For the second year in a row, we had a lot of help getting time with AJ Fernandez. Lots of people played a role in making it happen and bringing all of us together to talk about AJ’s newest releases like Oval Maduro and what some are calling his strongest cigar to date, the new Pinolero. After a day of smoking on the show floor, I got back to our luxurious two star accommodations that Hewitt found us and I lit up a Pinolero. Wow…no kidding. I could still taste it and feel it. Will have to give it a go on a clean, fresh palate. Also, I saw one display that had the Pinolero in a beautiful figurado. Thanks again to AJ, Kris, Clay, Spence and Thomas for making this happen.

The event was standing room only with great cigars, great deals, and great food and drinks. […]

AJ is the man
As per Jerry interview in 2010 in nicaragua with Abdel from Aj Fernandez he metion that he will start taking english classes, i gest it still has not happen Jaaaa!!!
Cool! Thanks for doing this one, guys. This is the first interview I’ve seen with AJ. I just adore his cigars. I think I put him even above EP Carillo as my favorite “new” manufacturer/company in cigars today. Even his cheap stuff is good.
The rumor was that AJ wasn’t doing interviews but our connections with his people got him to do this interview with us. I hope that means we are taken seriously. =)
Nice job guys. I love AJ’s stuff. Can’t wait to try the Pinolero.
Mango
AJ appreciates you guys. Thanks for the kind words. FYI, Pinolero’s have just started shipping. Another Home-Run by AJ.
